Open Water Diver
This is the entry level certification that starts your scuba adventure. Training consists of some home self study, then 5 modules of pool and classroom time, usually about 20 hours total and can be completed over the course of 3 days. Then it's on to the lake for your 4 checkout dives, completed over 2 days. So, in as little as 2 weekends you can be an Open Water Diver! Certification prepares you to dive anywhere in the world! Explore ancient shipwrecks, observe fish interaction on a tropical reef, or see what lies just below the surface of your local lakes.
Once completed, the PADI Open Water Diver course allows you and another scuba certified buddy to dive to 60 feet without any assistance from a scuba professional, such as an instructor or divemaster.
